No problem, here's something I put together before I had finished the texture:

Just finished modeling this as an exercise in preparation for a new title I will be starting soon. Gave myself a week of total time to finish this scene and then moving on. Time spent so far is 2 days and change.

Fantastic! Is that 2 days in hours total? Or just 2 days spent workin on top of other stuffs? That seams like a lot of work done a short time Crazy

Concepts for this "lamp shade" are posted in the Art thread.
I'm going to assume this qualifies as 3d even though it is not digital.

My 3d object class also printed a 3d digital object of mine.

(will try and post the original 3d model)

As the (apparently) creator of this thread, I see no problem with posting real-life 3d-stuff.

That's pretty neat, it'd be cool if the back support of the stool was on hinges with a triangular support in the middle on the back.
And then you could choose to put the back down into the small table.

I also like the two front legs and the big chunky back one.
Nice craft work, very polished.

It's not a back support, it's meant to be on your side so that you can keep pencils and coffee on it (it's so short that it's just in the way if you use it as a back support) Smiley

NOTE: ONLY USE THIS ON ONE UV POINT AT A TIME, MOVING MORE THEN ONE AT A TIME WILL COLLAPSE ALL POINTS INTO ONE.

YES! That did the trick. Many thanks, willy!
It works only when I assign a texture to the material. So what I do now is assigning a black texture with the same size as the texture I plan to use, edit the UV with pixel snap, draw the actual texture and replace the black one. What do ya think?

To fix the "Snapping all verts collapses them" issue in Maya, go into the move properties (I tend to just doubleclick on the sidebar icon) and make sure "Retain Component Spacing" is checked. ^^

This is from my class, we all had to do one Wild West building and some props, then on the last day I got thrown the gallows as well - both buildings are around 500 faces (It's a game art course, so we're trying to keep it low poly). Modeled and Textured by me. Stupid background added just so I could have something to look at it on - not part of the course. XD.

Here's a shot of how our game Drillboid is coming along, I'm trying to improve all the art assets since we are aiming for a full screen standalone. Created the tiles and background texture using Zbrush. Just the one tile at different rotations for now but my coder said I should post it here to show you guys =]

I agree that thing is going to haunt me in my sleep.  I think it's the oversized facial features.  A nice model though.
