What happens when you try the last version, agj? (I'll try making it BPPlayer-free. If it works then, I might stop using it for the later versions.) And yeah, I checked out how blood would look, and it didn't really fit. I'm not sure if tears would work instead, but probably not...

I like the overall game, but I noticed something, and yes...I'm going to be the dreaded idea man...:
1.if you hit down, even though it doesn't do anything, it still shows the hand moving down. Could you make down a possible movement?
2.could you maybe make the character move a little bit faster?

v0.4 doesn't open for me, although v0.3 works fine. Maybe it's BPPlayer?

What happens when you try the last version, agj?
I get the following: --------------------------- blenderplayerbpp.exe - Application Error --------------------------- The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------

Download Super Cockpit Football Fighters v0.41AKA the "so that didn't work very well" edition - BPPlayer has been scrapped.
- You can now drop OGGs/MP3s directly in the "music" folder instead of renaming everything.

Probably an awesome stuff. I have to give it a proper try (i.e. with a friend). What could make it a little bit better? Hmm... Maybe an AI, or maybe not, if it's too stupid.

The game works fine now but the music doesn't. I thought I fixed that. The solution to that ATM is to install PyGame(and possibly Python). I'm working to fix that, though. (Did you see any errors in the console window?)

I'm not sure how I'd do an AI for this game
How about making the character just follow a point above the ball if he's closer to the opponent's goal, and a point behind the ball if he's closer to his own goal? Add some randomness and it might work.

That might work; however, I think a "tennis cannon" type of singleplayer mode would be easier to do, and potentially a bit funnier than scoring easy goals against the computer.

Just played it for a couple of hours with my friends (they like it that much) and their responses included: "This game is awesome" "I love the graphics" "All the bugs make it funny" etc.
