Here's a new game.

It's basically doki-doki panic meets a rotating platformer game.

You play as a human who got turned into a frog toad, and you have to try to turn back into a human or maybe being a frog toad is more fun and you stay a frog toad. Whatever.

The color and contrast is all wonky here. Sorry.

Things are going well. Have lot of ideas, need time to implement them. Before I do that however, I feel I need to wrok on the overall "feel" of the game. Increase the juice so to speak.

This looks lovely. I especially like the travelling between the planetoids - it gives a fun feeling that the universe could be infinitely large, if only you could escape the atmosphere.

As TIG's resident princess (look at muh name!!) I feel the need to butt in and say that I'd much rather have a dashing princess.

Of course, I already do. But just saying.

Anyway, this game looks rad! The graphics are really nice and all the various camera movements are really slick. Character is super cute too. :3 Don't you dare call that frogtoad gross, aldo!

I think I could probably work in a challenge to gender binary or whatever into the story.
This game is going to be a road game. It's like how there are "road movies" but in this instance its a game.
So you as the player, this toad, wander into town and maybe there's like-- a corrupt town official or something-- and you beat him up and save the townsfolk and ride off into the sunset onto your next adventure. Get it?

It's been a while since I updated this so here is what the game is sort of looking like right now--





I had some serious contrast / saturation problems starting out because I am a super shitty artist.

The platforming and traveling between planets reminded me of Mario Galaxy, but in 2d. Nice work!

I have another demo ready.





This is my first larger type level. I was getting a lot of lag because the collision work for enemies isn't the most efficient. More than 3 enemies at once starts bringing the framerate down so I have to reconsider everything and feel general despair.
