Tactics for avoiding different patterns
Stick rain: don't stay under the stick shower, stop firing if you need to cross it quickly.
Stick flood: don't get stuck.
Homing missiles: stop firing to get faster, then dart somewhere to confuse them. Don't get close.
Double-sided lightsabers: 1) get close, move only if you feel danger or 2) sit at the corner and pray.
Intersecting bullet curves: avoid crossing two bullet trails at once (at least on normal)

Thanks for the hints! I were now able to get a 1162 score (though directly after that I got 124, some good versus bad luck I guess).

Homing missiles: stop firing to get faster, then dart somewhere to confuse them.

Ah, that was useful! I also realized the missiles can be avoided by moving in a circular pattern around the boss.
