How do I port that animation to a different map?

To have animated tiles, create a .bqTILEANIMS file in the Tiles/ directory with the same name as the corresponding tileset.

The tile animation file is simply a list of tile indexes attached to animation files.  The format goes:

Number_of_Animations
Tile_Graphics_Number Animation_File
...

You can find the tile graphics index in the Tile Type mode of the editor.  (It should say "Gfx:" at the top left of the screen.)  Any animation you use for a tile should be 8x8, natch.

Hope this helps.

Aw man I feel stupid ._.
How could I miss those files in the Tile directory...
Teaches me the lesson to look carefully and closely.

Well thanks a lot for your help. I'll probably need more help later on. ^_^
Cave Story <- he says "Thank You."

By the way, "Tile_Graphics_Number" is the number of every 8x8 tile?
I'll just experiment.

Word, it's the index of the 8x8 tile in whatever the tileset is.

So the first blank tile is 0, the next tile is 1, etc.

There's no documentation for this stuff (yet), so don't worry about asking me questions! Gentleman

Awesome!  I guess it's got a new tileset, since you needed to know about tile animations? Grin
