Oh my god it's badly balanced and weirdly structured, hurrah! Tell me if you find anything linked wrong.


Collab campaign for Spelunky!
Sign ups!

8 people minimum and the collab will begin once we get them, but I'll adapt the campaign structure for any amount of people until, say, Wednesday Smiley (meaning sign ups close wednesday).

Here's how it works:
We start with one basic level with two exits, the next two people in line receive that file and get to make a level, and then the 2 two levels completed are sent to the next people on the list and so on.

RULES:
* Level must be possible
* 1-3 reachable exits per level
* Nudity and profanity required! (not really)
* Play the levels preceding yours, please! And it'd be wicked cool if you expanded on themes found therein. Well, hello there!

Me, you silly billy! This is modeled after like, that mardi gras comicompo thing, though apparently I shoulda clarified that in the first post. Embarrassed

The exit thing: I dunno. I guess that's a good idea, but I ain't gonna try that hard to enforce it. So I guess if you're reading this, and you haven't added in two exits to your level yet (And most of ya'll ain't even working yet so that shouldn't be hard), it'd be cool to have just one.

Yes, kinda! We make an order... ON THE GO!
Here's the two most appealing I can draw up in 3 minutes:

read from top to bottom: blue: Will, red: Xion
WOAH! Currently I think B is better, because it's a longer (albeit more linear) campaign, and Xion's level is way way harder than Will's so with A it's unlikely you'll even see those two branching off of his level. Shrug

I just got home, will be doing mine now.

Yeah I have a problem. I recently reset my highscore, so if someone would be so kind as to fetch their highscore string from the registry for me that would be very nice, so I can actually create something cool.

1-4 switches between groups of shit you can place, and A and S (or was it Q and W?) cycles through the items in those lists.
