Here is a suggestion for the random levels. Don't make it TOO random. Here's how you could do it. Expose a "seed" for your levels random number generation, and let the users change that seed. That way, they can share different interesting seeds that spawn interesting combinations of enemies on the internet.

Hi again,

I played the version you have on IndieDB, so here's some feedback:
- Consider adding an invulnerability timer after you get hit. Getting hit by 3 bullets at the same time and taking the damage three times because of one mistake is not fun.
- the square, yellow, flashy alloy drops look like weapons. I've been dodging them the entire level 1 until I accidentally hit one in level 2 and saw that it didn't damage me. Then I saw it is alloy, but I had no idea what that is (and I still don't)
- even though the screen suggests there are some other weapons, in my maybe 10 or so games I haven't encountered any. I only played with the default weapon
- level 2 is punitively hard. I gave up because it was too repetitive. Having weapon variations would have helped me push through it. Cool, crazy, flashy, even unrealistic weapons are a must in games like these
- consider adding damage numbers and more effects to the game. Powerups to increase the damage numbers so that the player feels a sense of satisfaction when destroying enemies.
- increase fire rate (and decrease damage to compensate, if you must) make the player feel overpowered without actually being overpowered. Satisfaction satisfaction satisfaction.

Hi Eddie and thank you for feedback!!!

Quote
"even though the screen suggests there are some other weapons, in my maybe 10 or so games I haven't encountered any. I only played with the default weapon"
- this is very very strange. All enemies have 3% chance to drop weapon container.  So 10 games without any drop sounds VERY strange. Anyway i think i will add something like cargo ships with 100% drop chance to prevent this kind of situations.

- this is for upgrading shield and energy generator.

- adding an invulnerability timer is very debatable thing for me. I think this will make my game too easy and forgiving. But i will definitely add this feature later just to see how it goes.

For the music, try LabChirp or bsfx, they're both genius. Very easy to make sound effects with them, highly recommend

Yeah, they are pretty good for making 8/16bit sounds. But i dont want chiptune sounds. Is there any similar programs like bsfx but not chiptune oriented?

You can make non chiptune sounds with LabChirp. You will need to use the Frequency sliders too for that, so that it modulates frequency.
I made sound effects for boltus in it from hollow-sounding metal to explosions to glass impact. With enough skill I think there's very few sounds you can't replicate in LabChirp.

Hey... those particles look very out of place. Everything else is pixel art, and then you have those realistic explosions. Maybe try pixel art explosions? pixel particles? It would be so much better

Just added a battlecruiser. He will randomly appear on higher levels and drop rare and legendary weapons. Also finally made inventory sorting by dps.
