Hi everyone!

Watch the first trailer for my upcoming game Jet Set Knights! =)

About This Game:
Jet Set Knights will be an old-school arcade action platformer inspired by classics from the golden age such as Mario Bros, Snow Bros or newest Super Crate Box mixed with tower defense and RPG elements.

Game Features:
  • Simple controls and pure arcade action
  • Single player and Local multiplayer for 2-4 players
  • Three local multiplayer modes include Last Man Standing, Domination or famous EGG Tournament

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the scan lines, but the gameplay in the trailer looks nice. Reminded me a bit of Shovel Knight, though I'm sure they're pretty different. Looks fun!

You can on/off the scanlines fx in the game options. Yes, the first character in my game was inspired by awesome Shovel Knight, i wanted much horned helmet on one of my characters :D In total there will be four playable characters, each with their own unique abilities/spells.

Just working on robot BOSS for Stage 3 - "standing","hit" and "Throw" animation. I want to try  finish all the animations for bosses on this weekend.  Hand Clap

This. The only quibble I'd have with the look is that the scan lines are maybe a little too dark, and thus add a little too much noise. Looks like a lot of fun.

this looks awesome. pixel art is spot on for what your trying to make. dunno about gameplay, ill watch the video and tell you what i think.

EDIT: looking at the trailer, it feels like you have massively improved super crate box, almost. its really really cool. it feels a little boring by the looks of it though, do you have any variety in what enemies do, rather than just run at you? flying enemies or teleporting enemies, for example? other than that, it looks like something that i would definitely pick up. good luck!
