Not really sure if this is the right place, I couldn't see anywhere else that would be a relevant fit.

I don't know if this is a topic that has been brought up a lot, but I think that the profile settings are becoming very outdated. Once upon a time, people used Yahoo! Messenger and MSN. But this is 2015, I don't think I've even heard anyone mention MSN unless it was ironically.

In the forum profile settings you have options to put in your details and usernames for various outdated messenger services so personally I think that these should be updated.

I think relevant social media and communication sites should be listed, such as Skype, Twitter and other such sites! I think it would be a lot more useful than media outlets than no one has used in a solid 5 years.

Again, sorry if this is the wrong place.

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

I concur! Perhaps replace these with Twitter, Facebook, Youtube.

I just think it's crazy that it's 2015 and these still haven't been revamped! I get that the forum has been going a long time, but still, for possibly the biggest indie dev forum in the world to still be living in 2006 is unbelievable

we also still lack youtube embedding and a properly working search function btw.
