It's much the same to me, so I'm not going to cast a vote, but I wish to reiterate my interest in the enterprise in general.

I cast my vote for either Brussel or Amsterdam (either of these would work fine for me).

Like Increpare, I'm easy when it comes to destination, so anywhere's good. For what it's worth, I've been to both Berlin and Stockholm before, and enjoyed both.

I vote for Berlin. My lvl 2 choice would be Stockholm (maybe Copenhagen...).

Berlin would be my #1 choice. I'd love to go to Copenhagen but I reckon it'd be too expensive for me. Still, I'd do my best

question: would this be a jam or a weekend pissup?
EDIT: I see 'non-productive vacation thingy' mentioned in first post. Hmm. Given this, I'm probably not going to go.

I dunno - I can get pissed whether I'm at home or abroad, so I'd prefer it if there were some sort of jam-type activities taking place.

Agreed! Except that I'm voting for Dublin!

Okay then. Well, given that there would be games-making involved:
I would also be up for Dublin!
I remember you saying that you could host such an event in hour house, free of charge?

nothing against it being a real jam. but the initial crowd (me and jstickr) are not gamedevs so we didnt give that much thought. We'd need space for that though. I dunno anyone who could provide it in belgium and not sure if we can get it in berlin. as for dublin, i thought there was an agreement on this being in mainland europe.

I gotta second that, although I'd be coming with a car. But still, anything that is separated with large bodies of water from my place is something I can't really go to. Berlin is too not a location I exactly favor, simply because its twice as long away as anything in the Netherlands or Belgium, but that is more of personal inconvenience than a real reason, anyway. Of course, the location completely aside, I'm not even sure if I have time in summer, but I can't really tell that till it IS summer anyway.

While i'd like to visit ireland one day, I think there's a strong opinion about keeping it in mainland (except from people already in ireland/uk).
As for the jam thing, so far nobody can provide a space in either brussles or berlin. unless you guys can jam in the outdoors or in hotel rooms. there is a slim chance of being one.
