Hey guys!! So much time!

So, I just uploaded a new video:

The video has no sound but you can read some explanation about it in the video description on youtube and on the the devlog here: https://yorkgs.wordpress.com/2016/12/13/video-log-2-even-more-battle-system/

I hope you guys like it!
Next step now is to model the rest of the creatures that will be available in the crowdfunding prototype!

See you guys next time.

It's very cool seeing those Kiplies flying around! Feels really immersive.
So much stuff got done! =D

I found it interesting that you click on the target first and then choose the attack. Seems different from the standard in RPGs - seems a bit counter-intuitive to me, but that might be because I'm more used the other way around.

Below Dooky's portrait - is that a mana/stamina bar? Depleting each time you use an attack, and replenishing a little each turn. If it depletes completely, do you have to keep defending while it fills up? Also, what do that stuff below the "mana bar" / portraits mean?

Btw, cool depth of field effect during the battle!

Hey Tony, thanks a lot man! ^_^

Hey Vitor, so you can choose the attack first, in the bottom toolbar you can click moves and choose the move then select the target, if there is only one target it will be used in it (if the move is an offensive move).

The blue bar is the experience bar and the orange bar is the move points bar, and it works exactly like you said, if you run out of MPs you will need to defend or it will be a good strategy to have a move that doesn't cost any MPs too.

The two ribbons below the mana bars mean what you commanded to your creature in the left (or a "?" in case he is waiting for a command) and on the right it's the number of the party that creature belongs too, since there will be battles that goes up to 3vs3 players/parties.

The dof it's the unity's default hehe, it's trying to open more the focus area without sharpening what's too far away but it's quite good already, oh, and it's not the new dof from the new image effects because those were bugging the UI for some reason. Tongue

Thanks for replying guys, always great to hear from you! Soon I will be posting more creatures models.

See ya!
