please keep the music you have right now! I really like it and wouldn't want it to be something cliche like "oh what shall we do with a drunken sailor".

That's some very nice stuff. Looking forward to seeing how gameplay will work. And you should really finish Erlkonig.

Err, I'd like to, but it would be time consuming, especially rigging and animating that dude :pIn the meantime, here's a first running, and yet very basic, demo : flying_dutchman_alpha_release.zipPress the arrow keys to control the heading. Press CTRL to shoot (errm, shooting nothing yet). That's all, for the moment. As you will see, there are toooooons of things to improve & fix to make it look & feel more like a real ship. The helm response it far too high, the boulders should be in physics too, and it lacks different views so far.

Here are some early gameplay ideas, pal. Unfinished, buggy, unclear, but it is slowly comming along. The audio got improved too. With it came my old time friend fiend : OpenAL. So please, beware, install OpenAL prior to anything, I included the installer in the archive. Right click here to download the demo.Enjoy ! Time to sleep for me now

Well, oddly the engine claims it is using the GL3 renderer, which is not true. Either your driver is not up to date, either your graphic card is too old, I guess. May be I need to check smthing with the engine. What is your graphic card ? Have you got the latest driver ? Laptop or Desktop ? Thx for the feedback

Ah yeah, an intel integrated graphic adapter :s The engine is not very confident with this I'll try to keep you updated.

Ok, so apparently, as specified by the log you just copy pasted, your card does not handle the VBO mode, thus it is only able to work in the veeery old way. Supposedly, this could be fixed by updating your driver, as it is quite oldish (2004). The issue being that, on a laptop, the drivers are sometime locked in the past by the manufacturer ... Try to test it on a more recent graphic card. Sorry

Hi everyone. I'm slowly making progress on my entry. Here's a screenshot of the main title, as a sneak peak. In the meantime, I decided to change its name NB : I'm unsure of my English grammar skills ... is it "searching for the..." or "in search for the..." or ?

Nice title screen!
You could use either 'Searching for the Flyin' Island' or 'In Search of the Flyin' Island'.

What he has right now would also work, although I like "The Flying Dutchman" better.
