OpenLiero is an almost 100% exact replica of Liero 1.33. The author reverse engineered the Liero executable and remade it to work on modern operative systems.
The game loads all data from the original liero files and even works with liero's total conversions.

Here's the site:
http://open.liero.be

You will need to place the openliero files in the same folder the liero exe is and run openliero.exe

You can get Liero here:
http://liero.be/

If you havent played liero before I suggest you try it. Wink Its a damn great splitscreen deathmatch game. ( you will need some friend to play it though )

I seem to remember in the Win95 days that the original author became quite incensed over a similar effort to reverse-engineer the game.

I presume this has his approval now.
