Thanks, buddy! Right? The artist is so talented! I must say that game will have almost no animations. It's closer to a visual novella or a dating sim. However, I'm studying how to implement small but effective animations |

First take on JOCK and LITTLE PRINCESS' expressions (click to see the entire images!)   BONUS: how an event with JOCK and LITTLE PRINCESS could be ROYAL GIRL: No, I know our football team is called the Monster High Monsters, but who's our mascot?
JOCK: Our … mascot? Oh dang, you're right! We don't have one!
ROYAL GIRL: Ooh! What about “Misha the Mermaid.” Mermaids are monsters!
JOCK: No way. Too girly. Try this: “Wally the Werewolf.”
ROYAL GIRL: Why's it gotta be a werewolf? We're “The Monsters”, not “The Werewolves.”
JOCK: Yeah, well, we're not “The Mermaids” either.
ROYAL GIRL: Hmm … Maybe the problem is that the team name is trying to cover a huge, diverse group of people with a single label?
JOCK: No! Coach is never wrong! We're just not thinking hard enough. Think, think, think …
JOCK: Hey, you! You look like a hard thinker! What mascot should we get for our team?
YOU:
OPTION 1 (SMARTS, SIDE WITH ROYAL GIRL)
Easy, we'll just genetically engineer a cross between every kind of monster at the school. Head of a werewolf, tail of a mermaid, hair of a medusa, angst of a vampire … we'll call it “Abe the Abomination!”
OPTIONS 2 (CREATIVITY, SIDE WITH JOCK)
Just find a regular human, dress him up in a business suit, and make him the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Corporate greed, that's the real monster.
OPTION 1 – SUCCESS
ROYAL GIRL: Finally, an idea that represents the true diversity of our school! We can use my daddy’s gene lab!
ROYAL GIRL: Let’s see … in order to fit all the monster parts in, the mascot will have to be about a hundred feet tall …
ROYAL GIRL: … covered in nightmarish appendages and moist tentacles.
ROYAL GIRL: Which means it’ll provide great shade on hot game days! The tentacles can hold umbrellas!
OPTION 1 – FAILURE
ROYAL GIRL: But wouldn't a combination of every monster at the school …
ROYAL GIRL: Have all the weaknesses of every monster at the school?
ROYAL GIRL: It’ll dissolve into fluid the first time we take it outside!
ROYAL GIRL: The field will get all muddy, I’ll ruin my new sun dress …
ROYAL GIRL: Oh, and dozens of monsters would probably have to die in order to make such a thing.
ROYAL GIRL: But my sun dress!
OPTION 2 – SUCCESS
JOCK: … I don't get it.
JOCK: Which must mean that it's really smart!
JOCK: Corporate greed! That's the real monster! Yeah! Hoo-rah!
JOCK: He can even make it rain dollar bills on the audience! They'll love him! I love him! Fuck rich people, yay!
ROYAL GIRL: Hey!!!
OPTION 2 – FAILURE
JOCK: … I don't get it.
JOCK: Wait, are you saying that monsters … are bad?
JOCK: Yo, dude, you're a monster!
JOCK: I'm a monster!
JOCK: This is a high school entirely full of monsters!!!
JOCK: That's cold, bro.
