Love a good mystery? Enjoy the creepy side of Florida? Ever wanted to star in a swamp noir theatrical production?

Knee Deep, a narrative experience in three acts, drops you into the shoes of three main characters - a blogger, a print reporter, and a private detective - as they whack their way through a jungle of conspiracy, intrigue, and social injustice. Your choices as these characters shape interactions as the story goes on.

We launched Act 1 in July. Act 2 hit Steam in November. The third and final act is expected to release sometime in Q1 2016.

On the production side, it's great. We've got a small but agile and very talented team. The challenge, of course, is getting traction in a marketplace overwhelmed by big names when you're working with an indie budget. Plus, there's been increasing pushback against indie episodic games because of scheduled release uncertainty. Knee Deep's been right on time, launching Act 1 in July and Act 2 in November. Act 3's definitely on target for Q1 2016. Our critics have been really positive, and we've acted on some of the bigger issues (reducing the season ticket price, for example, and adding voice acting). I'm hoping that word of mouth, plus the impending release of Act 3, will boost the signal about Knee Deep.

During the first two acts, our players have guided blogger Romana Teague, newspaper reporter Jack Bellet, and private investigator K.C. Gaddis through a murky maze of conspiracy, betrayal, and murder in the backwater Florida town of Cypress Knee.

In Act 3: Boomtown, it’s time for our unlikely heroes to get to the truth deep in the wilds of Cypress Swamp, with help from the few friends they’ve got left. You’ll help them get to the bottom of the mystery that’s been building since a janitor found a dead man dangling from the tower at Chief Roadside’s. Everything comes down to these final hours.

Maybe you’re just finding out about Knee Deep. Maybe you’ve heard of it, but wanted to wait until all three acts launched before taking the plunge. Either way, now’s a great time to grab the game.
