Results are in! As usual, the overall quality level of the entries is impressive, with outstanding games in the top 100 (and outside of it too!). On my side, I'm very pleased by the scores of my entry Growing Ties: It's the best ranked game I made in 4 participation, by far! I never though this tiny game could get up so high in overall and fun categories, it motivates me to work on a post-compo / expanded version!

I had been pessimistic about the scores for my game SnakeRPG, but I ended up getting rather high scores: Quite surprised at the high Innovation score. Combining Snake with JRPGs was a novel idea, but a lot of the actual gameplay elements were borrowed almost directly from very early JRPGs (pre-Dragon Quest and those that didn't adapt to DQ's style) and related games, and it plays a lot like them. Perhaps people simply aren't familiar with these kinds of games. Most of all, I'm glad I got a good Fun score. The comments barely mentioned anything gameplay-related, so I was afraid I had made it so hard to get into as to be unplayable again. Good to see this wasn't the case.

Hm, I did quite worse in terms of score than last time, but I also undertook a much more ambitious project so I'll take it as positive!

I have mixed feelings about my entry, I'm both really proud and very ashamed at the same time. Still pretty pleased by the scores and the nice feedbacks I received. #13 Audio(Jam) 4.36 #248 Fun(Jam) 3.51 #266 Overall(Jam) 3.59 #299 Mood(Jam) 3.48 #404 Graphics(Jam) 3.65 #480 Theme(Jam) 3.71 #536 Humor(Jam) 2.62 #555 Innovation(Jam) 3.09 Epic audio done by the great Ted Wennerström. Postmortem in the making, hyped for the next Ludum Dare.

Given how we practically didn't have a game until the very last day we're pretty happy. We did settle on the concept early on, but getting everything to work took most of the time; it was the first serious Phaser project any of us did (in fact, only two of our five-man team had used it before at all).

I'm just glad that my entry got enough votes to be rated as it required a PlayStation Move controller in order to play.

Really happy with the results. My only worry is how I'll be able to top this now. I'll just need to use some DETERMINATION.

This was my first Ludum Dare and my first ever completed project. I'm so glad I participated and I think I'll do something more with the game at some point.

I do hope more people embrace HTML5 games.
Ludum Dare games often don't need the performance provided by native apps, and it makes it a lot easier (and safer) to try out someone's game.

For some that means embracing the fact that you need to pay 200$ for an export module.

I'm more concerned about embracing the fact that some random part of your game will break for every player, the specific part breaking being determined by the specific browser the user prefers and/or other random environment factors. Plus the fact that you can't just dump random data into a file and read it, or handle saving by just doing 'StreamWriter sw = new StreamWriter(); sw.WriteBytes(myData); sw.Close();'.
Plus, I just really like C# for making games.

Not my best, but not very disappointing either considering there were almost 3000 participants. Might've been better if I'd had more coolness this time, but I can't help it; I'm chronically stressed out ATM and after the intensity of LD I just break down completely. I haven't really touched my computer at all since Christmas (on my tablet now). I hope I'll recover again in the future.
