Looks great, the game feel seems to be amazing!
I like how chronos is pretty the same mechanic as supermeatboy replays but: a)it's integrated in the story and b) it makes you feel awesome instead of humiliated by showing only your good run instead of all of them! (not saying SMB replays was a bad mechanic at all btw!).
Interestingly a previous game of mine uses the SMB replay mechanic! Thanks!

I love the slashing visuals!  Addicted
Looks fantastic!

Thanks!

Been working on some ultra realistic dialogue.

That is fantastic. No NPC murdering, then?

Cancelling the conversations by cutting people off when they talking is wonderfully integrated in the game as well, that's great!

PS: I played your other game "pause ahead" and, although the difficulty curve is a bit too steep (the difficulty jump on level 7 is overwhelming) the idea is quite interesting and the game is really polished! I couldn't beat the boss though, these vertical lazors have too many patterns!

Oh there's plenty of NPC murdering, trust me. It's generally not suggested because it tends to make the game more difficult though.

Thanks! Also glad you thought pause ahead was interesting! If you think the boss is tough, then you shouldn't even try the secret level! Wink (though beating it will actually give you a neat gift by mr. undertale himself)

Love the amount of detail you put into the game, especially the background in the teaser as well as the level selection screen.

Woah, thanks a ton guys! I'm definitely trying to put in as much detail as possible into every screen of the game - which usually means making a ton of screen-unique objects. Unfortunately that means development is going pretty slow, but I hope it'll be worth it at the end!

Here's the (hopefully) final level select screen!

Damn this looks awesome! Those first gifs make it seem like it's got very tight controls, which is always great. Can't wait to see more !

I like the level select screen a lot!

I envision each selection change for there to be that "white noise" screen briefly (like .5 seconds) before switching and playing the video "demo" of the next one Smiley

I didn't know this existed and now I am overwhelmed by the awesomeness of it.

I can't think of any other comment so I'll just post to follow. Keep up the good work!

I was already a big fan of this project because I love the way the rooms look, but now with that level selector I'm a total fan.

Thanks everyone!

No big additions to report yet. I've been working on some new areas, but mostly I've just been polishing everything in preparation for GDC.
