Sector Six is a side-scrolling, sci-fi shooter with silhouette aesthetic, procedural loot, extensive customization, and story missions.

Save the Universe

Enter distant future and join the desperate fight to stop the Eight Machines from destroying everything. In your journey, you will interact with ancient structures and beings, break laws of physics, travel between Sectors, battle swarms of the Machine minions, collectors, despair, anomalies, defense systems - all to stop the terrible enemy.

Build your spaceship

Spaceship building allows you to build a unique ship from procedural parts, obtained by destroying minions of the Machines. Every part has various properties and can be placed anywhere on the building field, allowing you to customize performance, appearance, and size of your ship.

Become master of spaceship combat

Test not just your spaceship, but also your skills as you dodge enemy projectiles and find the right timing to counterattack with your own. Each enemy brings new attacks, defenses, and strategies to defeat - it’s up to you to hone your combat skills and take them down.

Part customization, part sets, and relics

Combine, upgrade, and re-roll parts to create ones that are ideal for your dream spaceship. If that is not enough, collect set parts and relics to transform your destroyer of invaders into something even more powerful!

Modular difficulty system

Make the game as hard as you want it to be! Modular difficulty system allows you to modify almost every element of the combat and offers rewards for increasing the difficulty.

Update! New save system and small fixes

The most important change is the new save system, better than old save system in every aspect.

​First echo about combat overhaul!

It wasn't easy to start updating combat...
I wasn't sure about control scheme, enemy armour pieces and other things.
Decisions were hard to make and codes were hard to write.

This game looks extremely promising.
I love the art style. I completely love the one color, different saturation and value aesthetic.
One comment though, in your trailer you had some screenshake. Normally I looove screenshake, its very important to games. However, yours just felt a bit off. I think it is because the camera is still rather static throughout everything. I would suggest putting turning in the shake and also making it so the camera has a focal point(a boss or where enemies are coming from) and have the center of the camera halfway between it and the player. Not sure exactly how this will turn out, but its worth a shot!

New combat system test!

I have just released new Sector Six combat test version, I want for people to test new combat and tell me what they think about it!

Test version has just a mere prototype of a new combat system, so beware of unfair difficulty, poor balance, unfinished graphics, unfinished abilities, wrong sound effects and glitches!

This week was very good for Sector Six, because I have managed to implement key remapping or as I call it, control customization system, bring back ether to the game and began updating technology interface.

Due to bad financial situation of my family, I might have to get a job.
For few months or longer.
That means like two hours of Sector Six development per day max, which will postpone beta, Greenlight and basically everything.

Yep, that's life.  But the important thing is to keep following your vision. Smiley

As for Indigogo or other funding ... is actually not begging.  Unlike when you go to street and ask people for money.   Funding campaigns are about asking people to help you with realizing your vision.  In turn, they'll also receive something.  Part of it is the vision/final product and also that they helped you.  Of course, how you communicate that can make a huge difference.  If you need ideas, there is lots of info out there but here are a few to get you started:
