An inquisitor enlisted by the Pope purges a foreign religion/lovecraftian cult and its monsters from a city. It's a mouse-based action platforming shooter!

Wanted the game to be more about consistency than spectacle - so all of the levels are about learning specific monster behaviors and tackling them in different ways, with about 2-3 new monsters introduced per world.

When you finish a level, you get gold (exp) depending on your rank. You'll always get some, though, and it'll let you unlock new weapons.

You can try out an ultra-alpha build of some early levels in-browser here! (WASD to move, ESC for level select, F2 for HP bars)


The full game is meant to be maybe 2-3 hours long? With 4-5 worlds and 8 levels each, and a bunch of unlockable weapons. With some weird bosses. The game's composer is M4uesviecr. And that's about it  Blink!

More stuff:

dead/zombie priests shooting lasers from head-parasites. And crystal barriers (some monsters not layered behind them just yet) and wip graphics.

Kind of a small gif, but...

Wall-slugs that spread temporary slime, and...
Environmental slime that rises/falls. Trying to lay low on environmental obstacles, though, since they don't interact with your basic aiming/shooting. Think it's good to rely on monsters for obstacles, for the most part.

Been doing boss-related stuff and tutorial levels lately.



This one's the third boss of the Cathedral, where most enemies are laser/priest themed. Still fiddling with the animations, though!

A level with Jackie. She gets up-close and is melee only. Her dash damages enemies, and she’s immune to slime.





Also, game should be on steam soon! It'll be ~a few hours long, have ~10 unlockable weapons, and 3 characters. It'll be $5.
