Hello! I've always been interested in HTML5 as a platform for game development and I'm just wondering what your favorite frameworks/engines are for making HTML5 games.

I like to use GameMaker Studio:HTML, it costs (When I purchased it) $99 and is pretty flexible

You can also add additional modules to allow you to export it to other devices such as Windows, Mac, Linux, Android etc

RPG Maker has also introduced a new HTML5 export but that's quiet limited (RPGs only!)

If I wanted to port to console and/or needed native performance, probably SDL with emscripten.

Just targeting browsers, I think Elm is pretty bejujular.

I´m the CMO of WiMi5, an online game engine for creating HTML5 games, so I will recommend you to give it a try at http://wimi5.com  Smiley

Anyway you have several options you can see here https://github.com/bebraw/jswiki/wiki/Game-Engines
