Yea, I think rinku is still learning how to draw and paint (he said he is going to do 1000 drawings to practice) until he can do the remaining cut scenes etc.
I think I'm going to buy this on launch day. Its a legend already.

and yes it's been 9 years, but note that's not 9 years of constant work. i began it right after i finished immortal defense. but i did other things during those years besides work on SD (i programmed/playtested the entire fedora spade series, updated immortal defense for steam, did a few small contest games, etc.) -- there were entire periods of 2-3 years when i barely worked on it. the work on it was consistent between 2009 and 2013 though, during that period, i worked on the game every single day. so i'd say it's more of a 9 year span of time with ~5 years of solid work.
