#14 DevLog: Back to calm

Kickstarter has now ended. We're amazed with this great results. The global community has been just amazing with us, reaching all the Stretch Goals and giving us enough support to make Moonlighter as good as we want. Thank you all for your support!   Grin

Some news: We have published a free minigame in Itch.io. Is called Kill Will, and you can download it from [here].

From now, our intention is to keep this DevLog updated with any important news about the development. We're also going to publish one "Mega Update" around every 6 weeks. Of course, we will be available as always here, on our twitter (@DigitalSunGames) and on our contact mail ([email protected]). Feel free to ask/ tell us anything  Smiley

#15 DevLog: Progress in Moonlighter's development

Hi there! We are back here after a while. Moonlighter has been advancing through this months, and we just posted a Kickstarter update.

Anyway, here you have a resume of the new features:

Rynoka
 
  • Rival merchant.


 

 
  • Functional witch tent.
  • Box crashes and FX.


 
  • More villagers: Twists and polishing.


 
  • Market value on items.

Dungeons
 
  • A lot of new enemies (more than 10, most of them are a secret for now)


 
  • Better dungeon generation engine
  • 3-floors system for each dungeon, with progressive challenge (deeper = harder)
  • First and second realms finished

General Improvements
  • Combat system
  • More items
  • New UI
  • Minibeasts (worms, snails, grasshoppers...)


 
Also, we have decided to go with Backerkit for management and collecting information from all our backers. If any of you is one of our backers, expect a mail soon with further info.

Also, one last thing: We'll be making an open testing with Rise & Shine and other upcoming indie game Quantum Quest. The event is the next 16th of September, in our hometown Valencia, in Spain. Feel free to come and meet the team!

There has been a lot of time without saying anything here! Sorry, time flies.

During all this time we've been focused on the development of our game Moonlighter. We have just updated the main post of the thread with all new features of the game and links to all the Kickstarter updates.

Maintaining two devlogs is impossible, so what we will be doing from now on is to add here links to any new update of the game. The updates are usually published on our Kickstarter each month.

Of course we keep an eye here, answering any question, etc. Feel free to ask us/ give us any feedback Smiley

When I said "add the devlog to your signature", I didn't mean "add a 300 pixels high banner"... Big Laff

You'll risk getting backlash for that. Add some gorgeous but less high pixel art, I'm sure it'll draw attention just as well, and not in an obnoxious way
