Today is timelapse-day, again! A friend let me use his window, so I could shoot the setting sun, and the whole night, and part of the day too. The whole video was 4 minutes long, and I cut it. Now it looks like the night is 10 minutes long, which is artful and amusing.
My camera is still shitty, though.

I would too but only for the sake of everyone else doing it. Since I don't really like cavestory that much....I know. I think I'l have a Dwarf Fortress wallpaper.

I modified the language file for Notepad++'s Flash ActionScript syntax highlighter so that it wasn't horribly out of date and isn't mistaken for Haskell. If anyone wants it, you can download it here.

Making a video about one of my old game projects. I've been recording footage of some of my very early games, circa 2004. So much nostalgia, but I'm also very proud of what I achieved back then! If I could, I'd go back in time, give myself a hi-five, then ask myself for advice. Ali 2004 is clearly way cooler than Ali 2011.

Today I wrote an audio wrapper for SFML that allows me to seamlessly stream songs that have both intro and loop parts. Seamlessly! I'm so freaking pumped! I really wish I could show this off, but since it's an audio thing the only proof I have is this sound test screen and my word that this sound clip is legit...

A rough cut of the trailer for my retro platformer: Treasure Adventure Game.
My friend, who's doing some original music for me, is going to make a piece for this trailer. Once that's done I'm going to tighten this up and try to sync it up with his track.
