Hello guys and welcome to Pirate Treasure!

I started Pirate Treasure a few weeks ago (the be exactly 2,5 months ago) as a 10 hour game development challenge.
I loved the concept so I worked harder to create it to a full game.

Let me explain a little bit about Pirate Treasure itself, the quickest way to explain it is saying that it is angry birds 3d.
It isn't fully like that, but it is almost like that Wink

A little bit more in dept: You need to destroy buildings to collect the chests! You got limited time, limited ammo, so let's see you can finish those levels!

There is almost no story line, but here is the story line as it is currently:
You are a pirate who doesn't know where he is, who he is and what he need tho do, the only thing he know is that there is gold! And he want to collect it!

Hello and welcome to update #7 of Pirate Treasure

Firstly I changed the graphics of world 1 a little bit Wink

Instead of the default tree, there is now a new cartonisch tree. Also I increased the fog a lot.

I didn't have any time to optimize this world (also I'm still working on it, so I won't bake the lightmaps untill the whole scene is beautifully).

The second thing I added in this update are the bullet trials.

I can't say much about the bullet trials, because you just need to see it Wink

I hope you guys like the update video!

Hello guys and welcome to update 8 of Pirate Treasure!

In this update I added better graphics, I did that with the Image effects.
At the begining of the video you will see the new grahpics and at the end the old graphics.

That also brings me to the second update of this update.
I added graphics options, you can turn off all the graphics in the main menu, there are still some bugs in it, but I hope I can fix that soon!

Also something that I won't show in the video is that I started with creating balloons....
Wait balloons? Yeah indeed balloons to add more fun gameplay to the game.

I hope I can show you that next week!

I hope you enjoy the video!

Hello and welcome to update 9 of Pirate Treasure!

In this update I focused on 2 things!

The first one was adding balloons so now there will be in the game flying objects.
Currently the balloons can't fly around, probably I will not add that in the next updates, because the levels would be too hard.
Within one shot the balloons pop and will drop everything they are carrying!
(See the video how it exactly works!)

The second thing I focused at was fixing all the bugs. It doesn't look like a big update, but the game is a little bit faster now.

The framerate will still sometimes drop, because 2 times in a row unity crashed at the moment it was baking. So that will take some more time!

See you next week!

Hello guys and welcome to update #10!

I changed in this update 2 things!

The first thing is a muzzleflash. Everytime you shoot you will see the muzzleflash!

Also I added a sound effect for if you shoot!

The last thing is that I changed the coin sound effect a little!

The reason that this is a small update is because I'm making a character model and I'm creating a tutorial of how to create a building system like in Rust!

Hope you guys like it!

Hello guys and welcome to update #11 of Pirate Treasure!

In this week I mainly focussed on creating a Pirate Model
(You can see a timelapse here:)

That was almost all I did this week, but not everything I also fixed some bugs.

I don't have only good news, I have also some sad news. Because I will focus on creating content for the game (levels) there will be not anymore so many update video's.

I hope you guys don't mind, I will be still working. I hope I can finsish this game within a few months!

Stay tuned!

It looks nice for a start,

But maybe you should create real meshes for your environment, not just a pile of cubes, I think it would look better coupled with your dynamic destruction Wink .

Good luck with your project.
