I have been working on a game that focuses on hyper-minimalism with trippy effects. I am looking for feedback on what I currently have and how it could be improved.

I'd say follow the aesthetic you already established for the characters and turn every filled shape into an empty, outlined one. I think it'd help to bring together the consistency, or change them to be thin lines (rather than thick blocks, in the case of the green line in the middle of the screen).

EDIT: It looks pretty cool, so far.
