So, I'm basically about to be offered a position there as a Mail Clerk; and after taxes (I'm single without dependents), I'll have about $1600-2000 in take-home income; and will likely have every GDC week off, provided it stays around 3/14. Thing is, SF is still expensive as FUUUUUUUUUCK. So, eager as I am to go full-speed ahead; I'm not entirely convinced that this will keep my butt in the green. Job is just off the T-Line, ftr.

Any suggestions?

You can supplement your take home with one of the same day delivery outfits.  I would look at a company called Deliv.  Not a fucking rat race like Uber.  I've done Deliv and it is pretty sane.
