My name is Jon Kelliher. Im an Audio Composer with experience in scoring for tv and films. I have always had a passion for video games and Im looking to direct my career more towards them.
When working on projects I prioritise taking the vision of the developers/director into account and conceptualising audio that would would work symbiotically with the project and enhance the imagined world so as to create the most immersive experience for the player/audience. Ideally, I would like to work with like-minded developers who wish to communicate and evoke strong emotions through their games; be it using eye-catching art-styles, or purposefully, yet painfully difficult gameplay. Similarly, I hope to work on projects that have some unique and hopefully original characteristics to offer, so that I too can print a unique audio stamp on the project.
I am happy to enter a project at any stage; whether its nearing the end of the development, or simply at its initial conceptual stage - they both have their benefits.
Like most composers nowadays I am able to pull off most genres and styles to an appropriate standard, however, I prefer to stick to my fortes as i feel that is how any practitioner is able to create the best and most professional product they possibly can.
