A while back I remember hearing about a freeware / shareware game that was a super-optimized clone of Civilization (or possibly Sim City?) in which you could play through an entire game in about 10 - 20 minutes.

Does anyone remember this game or what it was called?  Whoever made the game did a good job of hiding it because Google repeatedly comes up with nothing.

A free one? I heard the XBLA version was going to be playable over about an hour... aside from that I'm not sure I recall anything like what you're talking about although it would be pretty interesting to try!

I don't think it's it, but I'll offer up FreeCiv, just in case.

Thanks for the replies.  Now that I think about it, it may have been Oasis - which is disappointing.  I like Oasis but I was hoping there was a game out there that actually played like Civilization or Sim City but could be completed in about 20 minutes instead of weeks.  Something that would do to the Civ model what Strange Adventures in Infinite Space did for space exploration games.

Just played it, I heard of it before but never played, but I must say Dwarf Fortress (My Fav. Game) is much easyer than that, but don't worry I didn't uninstall it, I will get into it sooner or later !!!
