Tommy and his hobo gloves Alec and his hobo hat Chrissy and her hobo camera (wait what does that even mean) Kyle and his sleep-deprived hysteria Erin and her F'ing razor wit (and her Phil) Mark and his new-found lethargy?? David and his massive bearhugs Nathan and his still-not-recovered-from-10-bit voice Matthew and his Steve Ben and his fucking amazing everything Cactus and his hot makeouts Petri and his incredible ability to penetrate bullshit and inspire me Jaime and his vodka tobasco nonsense Dan and his abs
...not to mention Derek, Ron, the Kyles, the Mechtleys, the Hollands, Dylan, Kellee, Aaron, fucking Shag, Jen, fucking Mazapan, the staggering genius of Daniel, etc etc fucking etc.
Going to miss you guys a lot. Thanks for changing my life once again, and helping everyone continue to take our first baby steps toward recognizing the awesome immense potential of this insane medium that we have all irresponsibly dedicated ourselves to.
I'm going to bed.

The worst thing about GDC is that there's simply not enough time! There were so many people that I wanted to talk a lot more with, but it's hard when everybody's surrounded by 10 other people and there's so much going on all the time =( I need 3-4 more GDCs

This year has been completely different from any of my previous 4 experiences at the GDC.
I was scared of what would happen this year, but for the next one, I'll be traveling with this heartwarming feeling of knowing I'll meet you guys again.
Thanks.

we should create a city of game developers that's like GDC all the time. I hear there's room in wyoming.

I'm really kind of bummed that this is all over. It was a really awesome GDC, and the IGF nomination is really helping me out in starting my indie "career." I hope that everyone returns next year, I LOVE YOU GUYS.

Best GDC ever! Thanks to you guys, again my faith in gamedev has been restored. Balance has been restored to my "core".

This was a really great first GDC for me. Thank you, everyone, for being such wonderful people. I really came away from this with a reaffirmed sense that game development is what I want to dedicate myself to.
Thanks again to Alec and the Infinite Ammo people for the pass! You guys are all great, and I wish you all the best.

Seriously. I want to have a giant TIGHouse and have everyone live there and just make shit and have fun 24/7. Although we'd get sick of each other pretty quickly.

Agreed, I had a fantastic time. I'll be back next year for sure. *staring at my stolen IGF panel insert, dreaming of the year to come*
I'd have taken mine, but out IGF Mobile ones were far too huge. No chance of fitting it in my luggage.

I have a dream of buying a warehouse and using it to offer cheap livin' and workin' space to awesome creative people. It would be the Ultimate Project. Someone on IRC shot down the idea and said the council/authorities wouldn't allow it, though I don't know what the legalities or practicalities of such a Thing would be. Imagine if it happened, though! Yes indeed. Anyway, I hope to come to GDC some day

In the States you can get warehouses zones as residential spaces. They're all over the Bay Area. Next GDC, check a few out, some are really awesome.
