You should be able to just put the link to the video and it'll get auto embedded, they must have a parser handling it specifically

Definitely recommend using something like FRAPS or something to record your videos too, get much better quality out of them. If you convert them to MP4 with VLC Media Player, you get the file to a fraction of the size and then you can upload it within minutes instead of an hour or something.

Anyway I love the screenshake effect you've got going on with each hit. If it randomly choosing a value, or is it skewed towards an axis or what?

I love that background.  Stunning!
@@ Bakuda, thanks!! im actually thinking of expanding it, will probably have some islands in the back, and id like to do a foreground later on

@@ Takorsmah, THANK YOU SO MUCH!.
i had used that screenomatic because it seemed to be the most convenient, and the file it made was only 3 megabytes.
il take a look at fraps too.

yes the screenshake is randomized

the art style here is a super fun one. i always loved the whole detailed minimalist approach that these games tend to take. its super soothing to look at. im sure that its gonna be a bit too violent to just stare at the background though. still, the attention put in is incredible. also, that gif on the first post looks super badass. not quite sure what it is though. following! ^_^

thank you! the first post is the character attacking a shato. he gets hit too at the same time thats why you see the red slash.

today i completed Doel's obelisk. working on the area selection. and also added health regen and spirit particles

the game looks really good. two things i think would make it even better:

1- tone down the screenshake a bit
2- super mario world's camera

Yeah there's this one screenshake pretty early on in that video where it shakes so much you lose track of the action for that second.

he's talking about with the camera. Something so small but makes such a big difference.

thanks for the advice guys. although i'm not sure if i'll be able to do it like that precisely but i can give the player a sort of box to have option without affecting the camera view

I changed the camera to move based on a rectangle around the player now. so each time you jump now it wont affect the camera
