Soz to revive a months old thread but I'd put my hand up as someone who does live in Brisbane! I'm currently in the last few weeks of the QUT Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment degree, although there are quite a few regular indie dev meetups I know of around the city as well as two other fairly well established universities offering games degrees so I'm surprised there aren't more people from Brisbane on here too.
