in merry gear solid 2 theres a guard asleep on the toilet and if you stand near the door your o2 meter depletes, implying that they took a stinky shit

Gone Home, since the whole game is based on that.

But that's kinda cheating so the recent Hyper Light Drifter does a nice job of telling you what happened to the world with details in the environment.
