Yeah, Echo seems like quite different game overall but I'd imagine people who like puzzles as part of the gameplay could be interested in both. It's interesting though that both games have "Echo" in the title that refers to a duplicate of the player's character. Could be useful for "cross-marketing".

You should create an echo character which is made of soundwaves. Maybe in this direction: Whoa that's an awesome idea!

Either that or they'll have to change their title.

Ah so this is where you guys have been hanging out! (It's Ben from the Johannesburg meetup) It's looking rad, guys! Love the models - they're creepy and nestled nicely in the uncanny valley . Hope you guys drop into a meetup again sometime .

I really like the low poly style. I think it adds a creepy element to the game, truly.
I don't know if you're going for creepy, but it's quite effective in that regard!

Today we're releasing a shiny new Echoplex trailer! Thank you so much to everyone who gave input on the first version. If you like the look of the game, please vote for Echoplex on Greenlight

This week we were lucky to get a LP of our demo from French Youtuber Squeezie. Not sure how he found us, but the video has almost 2M views now.
This dramatically boosted our Greenlight campaign - we went from 30% to 70% overnight on Tuesday. Right now we're at 98%.
So, merci Squeezie!

Interestingly, I get the sense from the trailer that it is you (the player) that is doing more following. Or that may be a plot twist: "In the end it turns out, YOU are the ECHO!" Congrats on the Greenlight progress.

Doing post-production on our cut scene "memory fragments". We filmed plates of different friends eating at the same table, then Ronnie and his team turned it into a packed Clonochem canteen. The ceiling is a stock image from Shutterstock. Most importantly, my bald head is visible (twice) - famous at last...

Really interesting to see that you are using Live Action cutscenes. I love the colours in this and look forward to seeing more.
