My little brother and I would play Combat on our atari 2600 for hours. This has some elements of that, but going in some new directions. Each player only has one bullet, you must hit the enemy or retrieve your bullet to shoot again.
Free while in alpha, maybe after?
1st player is mouse & keyboard, 2nd player is gamepad, uses xinput.dll so might not work with a non xbox360 controller.
Feedback and feature requests welcome.

Linux testers wanted! I'm on win currently so unable to test.

   Today war the 1st day on project. Got a kinda start screen, went through 2 iterations of graphics, got one stage that I like completed,some sound effects and fun music, and I think I'm calling it. It needs another 20 levels or so, some tuning, and eventually some better art. In two weeks, I'll have the extra money to grab a few more 360 controllers as well and get 4 player going. As it stands I have one controller, so player 1 defaults to keyboard/mouse.

So today was supposed to be about level design, I made one level and started fucking with sound & music. Think I have a not-too hacky way to do 2-4 players with gamepads, but have one gamepad to test so hopefully?

Getting close to wrapping for today. Today's enhancements include a splash screen and menu, new music, one level, and the ability to win.

Today has been pretty eventful for being before noon! I squashed a handful of bugs, rewrote gamepad control and object placement, and made a new level. 
 It should work for 2 players with both using gamepads now, my logitech isn't xinput so I cannot test myself. Uploading new builds now.

Did so many things today!  Made a new level, implemented controller pause, bullets have particle trails, sped everything up slightly, redid all lvl graphics, rewrote bumper & teleport codes, and added level name display in the menu.

I couldn't sleep so I tweaked collisions, made a new level, and added lighting to the game

Lighting was a TOTAL bust, need to study some more caused a giant memory leak that tanked FPS. Fixed a ton of stuff, removed lighting, and we're back to 60fps!
