I'm using this project to work on procedurally generated caves and minecraft-like survival and crafting elements that I intend on implementing in my bigger project, Generia, which you can check out here : https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=54315.0Obviously I could just be doing this stuff directly in Generia, but I realized making this another project with a little more freedom and play would be more productive (Generia has a lot of very specific things I want done, and I tend to get caught up in details with that dev).

This is the quintessential Tigsource game. First post with little to no description, with nothing but a gif, then tons of pixelly action made in game maker. Looks a lot better than a lot of other games though

I wasn't happy with the way ghost mouse was looking once I got the blast bolts shootin' so I made a skele-mouse instead.
This is the quintessential Tigsource game. First post with little to no description, with nothing but a gif, then tons of pixelly action made in game maker. Looks a lot better than a lot of other games though
I'm glad I am finally fitting in... also thanks.

Nice title. Learned Construct 2 has a "low rez" upscale which is great for this kind of project!

I'm digging the idea of that! I'll see what I can do. I agree original ghost mouse has more spunk but skele-mouse feels more natural. Yeah, I don't want a Skelemouse plushie :/
I'm not giving up on ghostie yet. :3

Stupid fake DOS tricks. I may or may not have a text parser in this project, but I haven't done anything even close to it yet so I figure I'd dive right in and it's actually incredibly easy in Construct 2. Here is the thing :

Thanks! I've been wanting to pull off Gamemaker style weirdness for a while but it looks like shit high res... once again, that low quality upscaling C2 has is perfect for keeping stuff like this stylized!
