The great thing about furries is that they piss off idiots from all sides of politics.

I guess I meant all those super politically correct people dislike them, but so do all those people who like racist jokes but get offended by christian jokes.

Just a man and his hobbies
Like painting
or trains
this just happens to be fueled by horrifying levels of denial and escapism

how care aout the furries.
no seriously, furries are for the most part not toxic about their fetish & they mostly keep to their own communities with it. i used to hate furries as a teen until i realized it was just a dumb internet hate bandwagon and they are incredibly easy to ignore if you aren't looking for something to get mad about. now my attitude towards them is "neutral", i.e. i don't care.

They're definitely not doing any active harm to anyone but it could argued that society is still diminished because of them. It's not exactly a feather in the world's cap when, due to the apparent alienation of modern western society and its ability to drive people to extreme lengths to achieve catharsis, we see an increasing number of people bringing us such haunting apparitions as [insert practically any group of people dressed as their "fursonas", possibly getting "yiffy"] Fact is, these people are spending less time engaging with the rest of society as a result of their devotion to furry fandom, and in so doing aggravating the symptom of alienation even further by diving headfirst ever deeper into fantasy. Then there's the Maude Flanders litmus test: Ask yourself how do you explain this to kids in a way that's truly honest about it without disturbing the hell out of them? When I see furries I get a feeling of dread in my stomach that says society isn't done unraveling. At least in many places.

people should not make love to racoons, thats unnatural. now if we could create a racoon farm where they are bred and killed to make a fake vomit and VR headset straps that would be ok.
