Is there the equivalent of an 'Artist Residency' for indie game development?
Ex. where the developer gets paid a small stipend and lives for free while making his/her game.

I know there are certain incubator programs like the one at NYU, which I seemed to just miss the deadline for Cry

I'm looking to abandon my material possessions and become an indie game development monk. Currently searching for options.

Huh, this is neat. I'll keep an eye on this for next year.

Also, hi!

This looks.... amazing. I will definitely keep that in mind.

I'm more looking at a long term residence though (6 months to a year).

That sounds awesome, and also possibly the setup to a slasher movie.
