I made a sweet song to all you guys who love Crash and are keeping up to date with Sony's teasings Wink
I used MuseScore's Soundfont, FL Studio's Reverb, Chorus, and EQUO and mixed the instruments to their separate channels.
I was in a music slump for about 3 months, but I didnt really feel too bad because I was making my game. Wink

Instruments in the soundfont I used?
Clean Guitar (Electric Guitar, no distortion or overdrive), Solo Trumpet, Fretless Bass, Slap Bass 2. I played around with the testing keyboard to tweak the sample so I get a neat range of sound. It basically took about 6-8 hours. (yay) Smiley

Feel free to ask any questions about my process. I tried my best to "imitate that awesome Josh Mancell" sound. I noticed he uses a lot of 'groove' melodies, climbs and falls, changes in rhythm to give this amazing sense of freedom. (That's why we love it).
So I did my best to stay inside that field.

Enjoy and thanks for listening! Smiley

Yo!

This is too intense. I was hooked once I heard the driving slap bass line   Tongue
I love how slightly avant the rhythm is and how it fits in the groove with bass
I've always wanted to use soundfonts ,but I could never get it to sound this clean

Nice one  Smiley

Thanks so much for listening and the sweet encouragement bro!

I love Josh Mancell's work on CB. Incredible shit. Haha I know that slap bass  Well, hello there!
Soundfonts are definitely a tricky beast, FL Studio's got some good vsts to remedy the sound Smiley
I love avant-garde/experimental stuff, and I think that's what makes his music so sweet!  Gentleman

Thanks again and definitely see you around!   Cheesy
