Hi i just started the Development of "Legend of Faune" a Zelda Like Survival game. Think of a mixture of the Legend of Zelda and I'm Alive.

I don't have yet much to show, only a few screen shots and a small Vine video. I will try to keep this devlog uptaded as much as possible.

Info:
- I am using the Impactjs as the game Engine (the same i used on Elliot Quest).
- Music is composed by Michael Chait
- I'm making everything else.

Nice graphics! I like the attempt to get a more lively vegetation, though I'm not too sure of the result.
Tree leaves usually rustle because of the wind, so their movement flow in one direction. Your tree have leaves moving in different directions, so it seems like the tree itself is shaking its branches.
Could it be an Ent masquerating as a real tree?  Grin

I also like the extra details of the vegetation.

However, the tree (or Ent? Smiley ) still moves too much.  It could look like that if it is *really* windy but then even the grass on the ground and character's hair would have to be animated to have a consistent look/feel to the environment.

Perhaps a few occasional 1 or 2 pixel movements would be enough to look realistic. Right now, looking outside into the forest behind my apartment, The trees are barely moving, to the point where you can barely tell there's movement at all.

Just some assorted thoughts:
* The pause before you push a block is a bit long. If you're looking at a lot of block pushing, I'd shorten that time considerably.
* The vegetation does seem a bit busy for normal wandering. Maybe have that rustle only happen once every 10-15 seconds.
* It looks like a good start; interested to see how you incorporate the survival aspects.

THakns for the feedback. I just started so i am not sure yet where the game is taking me.

Made some progress on the environment. And made the first room where the player has to get that stamina crystal before she faints.
