DEAR ORC

A game by: Harijan D.

Dear Orc is a game of old school 2D features, like plataforming, sidescroller, action combat with elements of RPG as level up, upgrades, craftable items, talent trees and a unique story remarkable with multiple paths and choices, unlike any other in platform genre before.

Would you dare enter in LĂșmina?

. A place stinking of evil and decay, where mortals band together to survive, fighting each others or beasts from the deep darkness of its old ruins. Bandits, scavengers, and creatures of unknown lurks in every alley or sewer tunnel. A pile of old stones shaped as great buildings where ancients curses spreads in everywhere.

This is the story of Dahik, the orc, who came back home after a long life of war. Will he find peace?

Original idea, text,  2D art/animations: Harijan D.

Gameplay

The control is the classical heavy platformer, like Blackthorne, Prince of Persia, Nosferatu, Another World, Flashback, with some dynamics to make the action precise with painful rewards on fails.

Many of you will point to the UI similarity of Dark Souls, inded the system is satamina driven. The great difference is between Dear Orc is an authentic classic rpg, with real time action. You have to make choinces in your way, and choices have consequences. You cannot clear the game with 100% in the first run, the relationship with every npc counts a lot untill the game ends.

Any doubts or tips, bring on. =)

PS: the two non-orc characters with the giant worm, isn't to this project, but the mood is the same.

Cheers!
