what is the game or games that have given you the most hours of fun?
A few of mine would be
Slikroad WOW GTAV Far Cry Overwatch
I am a long time gamer. I played them 10 years ago. It is a long memory about games. I start my first game with my best friend. We got the game from his older brother. I remember that was a free game and most players are child. Then we have play large games. WOW. It was the most popular game at that time. We have party and group for that game. But time goes fast, we start to play some games on some platform, such as steam and gog. I recently got my newest game Overwatch from scdkey. I was got this question when I was playing it. Because it is a crazy game. I really got the excellent feeling 10 years ago.
I remember the old games. though there have more and more new games out. They are always in my momery. Do you have games in your heart ?

I've got all those things and a shot of China White going through mine.
I couldn't tell you the amount of hours I've spent with Doom 2 but it's something obscene. I've played it at least twice a week since its year of release, it's dwarfed everything else including my favourite game (Deus Ex). Granted it's had years on that one but come on, more than my favourite game. Who the heck spends more time with a game that isn't their favourite.

For me, this would have to be In The Groove. It perfected the dance game formula created by Dance Dance Revolution, and a decade later, I'd say it remains the pinnacle of rhythm games. In one of the great tragedies of history, Konami killed it with a patent lawsuit, but not before it had captured the hearts of many people around the world.
Having been out of production for so long, the arcade machines are becoming increasingly rare. I'm kicking myself for not having bought one of my own when I had the chance. I'm still hoping I'll be able to find a used one for sale someday, but at the same time, it would make me sad to take it out of circulation if it's at an arcade where people can play it. The home version is great, but it's just not the same experience.

Super Smash Bros. ~ 300+ hours Super Smash Bros. Melee ~ 250+ hours Nuclear Throne - 112 hours Driver San Francisco ~ 60 hours Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga ~ 50 hours Skyrim ~ 40 hours Red Dead Redemption ~ 35 hours Max Payne 2 ~ 20 hours
These are really the only games I've played more than the regular game length, but I've played a hell of a lot of ~10 hour games like F-Zero GX and Shadow of the Colossus that could be listed as well.

Ultima Online I played on a RP server. Tons of fun and drama and wacked characters and forum posts about things happened in game and oh so much nostalgia. It's the game that made me realize "hey I'm kinda good at writing and creating characters", so it will forever remain in my heart. It's also the game that made often me play until 2 a.m., leading me to an intense life of tea, weird sleep cycles and naps everywhere at school. OH WELL.
Terraria&Morrowind When I changed home two years ago, I had awful bickerings with internet providers which left me with half a year without a realiable way to access the web. Terraria and Morrowind were my choice pastimes: tons of monster to fight, stuff to do and worlds to explore. I never truly finished either of them, though. Each time I boot them up after months of pause, I end up making another character...
Rune Factory 3 This one is like chamomile to me. I already finished it once, but I love to revisit the game after a though day. The city is full of nice people and everything is so relaxing.
Pokemon Silver Because I was young and naive and pokemons were all my world. 300+ hours on my old cardridge before the internal battery died. Played a lot with the remake as well.

morrowind was one of the first pc games i ever played. it was SO mindblowing back then ("what do you mean i can just take random objects from shelves, hey wait why is this guard arresting me") and it still imo has the most interesting world design of any bethesda game, even if mechanics are dated in some respects.

According to steam, then I've spent the most time in a game called Game Maker Studio.. It's a weird game, all you win is critique and bugs. Before that is a quantum leap, uhm, heap, of commodore games that stole my childhood, today, counter strike, quake live, total war and dirt comes hauling in after GMS.

If you count the raw number of hours spent having fun, for me it's probably either DotA (the custom map for WC3, not Dota 2) or Ancient Domains of Mystery. I played both of those games pretty much the whole time I was in school. DotA with friends, ADoM when alone. I think I played ADoM for at least four years before winning the game for the first time, haha.

I forgot, also the original Ace of Spades game by Ben Askoy, not the shit jagex version on steam, is a game I've probably played more than any other game. I'd guess 500 hours or more.

Which game have given you the most hours of fun? The dwarf fortress wiki seems to have a very... special opinion on the topic.

Fun might not be the primary word for it, but in recent years I've probably poured the most hours into puzzle games like the Picross and Picross 3D games. They take a while to master, but then there's something enjoyably calming about using your mastery to keep solving puzzle after puzzle.
