Hi folks!

Are there usage guidelines on the use of the copyright symbol? © We're working on our credits now, and we are a little confused as to whether the © has to be superscript or if it can be in-line with existing text.

Thanks,

Kevin

Some page from a google search agrees with my instinct which says inline with the text.

As far as I know:

  • It's inline (think about it like @)
  • Usage is "©year namegoeshere" (year comes first, not name)
  • No, (C) is not a valid replacement for ©

Also looking at the font here should give you an idea of its size =P

Space between copyright sign and year unlike what Sik suggested, but maybe that was just a typo. Looks horrible otherwise. And hyphen if it spans across multiple years like in this case.

Yeah there's always a space, it's not like Twitter.
