Massive Galaxy is a space trading adventure game, a point and click adventure with space trading elements in the mix. Explore, Trade and Fight across several systems.

One of the objectives of this project is to have the looks of old dos graphical adventure games like Space Quest, Maniac Mansion, The Dig and Beneath a steel sky.

The game also draws heavy inspiration from games like Flashback, Elite, Freelancer and FTL.

Check out my homepage, I do new updates mainly on twitter and tumblr, but will post updates here also.

I love the visuals. You're really making pixel art work for you: it looks more like a fitting, solid art style and less like yet another homage old-school pixel art. Even though I guess that was your intention. ^^

I like the style of the universe you are creating, kinda reminds me of Blade Runner. Nice work. Grin

This is magnificent. I absolutely love the art style. It has a huge "Sword and Sworcery" vibe, albeit in a futuristic context. It's gorgeous. The palette =  Hand Thumbs Up Left Hand Thumbs Up Left Hand Thumbs Up Left Hand Thumbs Up Left

Working on map transitions, more planets and cyberpunk scenes.
Also trying to finish a demo, to show in a couple of weeks, at a local games event.

Update to the development.
I've been adding more content to the game, so I have a more complete demo to show off.

Some character interaction inside your ship:

Pre-alpha demo, already showed the game at some events.

Still have not released a version to anyone but close friends / colleagues.

I'm adding a lot more content now and bug fixing so I might release a closed alpha version later next month.

The sprites are great, but it's the backgrounds that absolutely kill it for me. Love the sense of depth and details!

Hi,

We already shown a working demo in some events, but are not yet ready to release anything right now.

But we might release during April a pre-alpha demo to some of the subscribers.

Thank you for the interest.
