Hatslinger is a fast-paced top down shooter about a bounty hunter travelling through the Wild West, sharpshooting bandits and claiming bounties while chasing the biggest outlaw in the West.

The game involves shooting down enemies to get their hats and bounties, that you can spend in the shop to buy ammunition and weapon upgrades, as well as to buy train tickets to move onto the next area. Killstreaks can be earned by landing consecutive shots, rewarding patience and a skilled hand. There are three planned zones in the game, each with its own aesthetic and play-style

Currently being developed by myself and sound designer Craig Barnes.

Has a very Nuclear Throne feel to it, which I can't say is bad. Always wanted to make a game in the Wild West. I like the shop you've got going on!

It looks great, but I think it's too derivative of Vlambeer's games.  It's clearly Nuclear Throne with the Luftrausers color palette and character design between levels.

I'd probably still play and enjoy it, but know that perception will hold you back with a lot of people.
