Here's a transcript of the trailer, in case anyone can't watch: In the Age of Ancients the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, Archtrees and Everlasting Dragons. But then there was Fire and with fire came disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and dark. Then from the dark, They came, and found the Souls of Lords within the flame. Nito, the First of the Dead, The Witch of Izalith and her Daughters of Chaos, Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights. And the Furtive Pygmy, so easily forgotten.
With the strength of Lords, they challenged the Dragons. Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales. The Witches weaved great firestorms. Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease. And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the Dragons were no more.
Thus began the Age of Fire. But soon the flames will fade and only Dark will remain. Even now there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights. And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign.
Yes, indeed. The Darksign brands the Undead. And in this land, the Undead are corralled and led to the north, where they are locked away, to await the end of the world... This is your fate.
Only, in the ancient legends it is stated, that one day an undead shall be chosen to leave the undead asylum, in pilgrimage, to the land of ancient lords, Lordran. Sounds like Dark Souls III: fire, undead. Even "Lordran" reminds me on Lothric.

Comparison of dubs, latin american is pretty goo, french is bad, english is variable, to me listening without image, it feels like a final fantasy game :/ edit: Aonuma speaking russian I offer that to you ♥ bonus edit: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1334268&page=4nerd fighting over dub

Eh, english sub seems fine to me. I haven't listened to the french one yet, will do that right now.
Edit: French dub sounds fine too. Good talent all around the dubs actually, good sign for the game, and very impressive of Nintendo. I might replay this game just for the different languages.

Is it weird that I actually preferred the crying from Zelda's English actor to her Japanese one? I felt it was delivered a little more subtly.

Nah, it's not weird. Like I said, all the different voice acting sounds solid for this game, so preferences are bound to appear between dubs. I'm gonna play this game in as many languages as I can lol

the old lady is only good in latino and japanese, other feel your person forcing, french is flat, english must be british because that sob was extra contain regarding the visual, I would like to make a franken dub with the best part of all. Also I need a full french canadian tabernacle! People fear accent too much.

I admit that it would be interesting to see a Canadian french dub, but then again everything that gets the adaptation treatment tends to kinda suck imo so, eh?

Aonuma speaking russian I offer that to you ♥
As a native russian speaker, I find it hilarious but not surprising. For some reason, Japanese people seem to have a very hard time with other languages, even with English. They also have a hard time expressing their feelings by physical presence, they seem to feel awkward. But they express a rich set of feelings and fantasies in video games and anime, and that's where they feel more comfortable to live, so it seems.

japanese cultural output was sublimation as a product of an emotionally repressive culture all along
