for real tho, i like the sparse use of music as well. this game just has a neat atmosphere and good "sense of place" in general. also total 180 from skyward sword whose spaces were "gamey" as fuck and didnt even try to look like a "world" (one of the reasons why i dislike it).

lol someone definitely played some dark souls
btw i hope there actually isnt a master sword or equivalent in this game. they have this cool system set up around switching up weapons constantly and it would be a real shame if that just got thrown out the window at some point. Though that is probably how its gonna work.
Never even touched a Souls game. Master Sword has been shown off and I believe was even in the logo. Though it appears it might break tradition because parts of it look rusted. What if it broke and you had to make a completely new master sword? |

The game looks fabulous. I hope that they won't downgrade visuals in final WiiU release. Not gonna buy NX until all initial problems are solved (plus possible ridiculous price in my country)

That new Zelda looks really interesting, hope to comes together for an amazing experience. But saying that though the animation looks hella janky at the moment and that has got me a bit antsy. Also I totally agree with the timeline |

dont u think the "timeline" could just be a bunch of callbacks that are included for fun/consistency/extra mystery? people sometimes repeat themes and motifs without it necessarily implying a bigger continuity. |

Nintendo have said as much before, but it's still fun to try and put it together. I mean at the very least it's set after Windwaker going from the appeareance of the Koroks. |

Well don't have direct sequel after direct sequel if you don't want a timeline. There is callback and directly building from events of previous games, using the same character or acknowledged descendant ... There is no final fantasy timeline despite all the call back ... And it's a game about putting things together, that we extend that to the timeline puzzle is no surprise |
