To be honest this is the most depressing statistic. The people who will live in the country for the most time won't get what they voted for.

Sadly, it's one of the main points of democracy. If majority wants it - it has to be done. Even if this majority is dumb. I hope that Scotland will think again about necessity of its presence in UK.

Nothing like waking up and watching your country set itself on fire Also it's not just a economic issue, the EU set paternity, work hours, anti corporation and food standard laws and knowing this government their are gonna try real hard to screw us over those too.

I can't think of a reason anyone would think this was a good idea beyond like, absolute filthy xenophobia
You think there's no inherent value in sovereignty at all - a value that perhaps cannot be measured in money? It's all about the economy for you guys? People who think leaving the EU is a move for sovereignty are probably the same kind of people who honestly believed that Australia was in a "budget crisis" last election. Trust me, you don't need to be in a union to lose your sovereignty. Your corporate-owned politicians will sell it at their earliest convenience.

When the "majority" is literally just a smidgen over 50% and the breakdown shows massive swings between regions and demographics, are the citizens really being represented in any meaningful way?
