I got one a while back, it's pretty cool since it can mimic the iCade protocol and let you play any games that support iCade with it.  Unfortunately that's the only way appstore games can use it atm.  If you have a jailbroken device, you can grab BTStack and play around with more stuff like the analogs.  ThinkGeek is coming out with a similar pad too, but more NES styled and a lot cheaper:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/ecea/ <- also has a list of iCade compatible games

Is the icontrolpad easy to carry around with you or nah? Like could that and the ipod fit in my pocket comfortably? (Assuming it's the only thing in my pocket)

Doesn't Blutrol make it compatible with basically any app, though?

Oh wow, hadn't heard of Blutrol before.  That looks awesome!  Smiley

Anyhow, the pad isn't too big though definitely thicker than an ipod.  Both of them in one pocket should be fine.  It's pretty quick to attach with the metal clamp that attaches to the back, too.

Hey
A while ago I was looking here for opportunity to make music for some game but since nobody wanted me I've decided to make games on my own :p
Here's my first monstrous baby
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/westerplatte-2039/id492307254
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lukasz.westerplatte2039
It's not a recomenndation cause it's rather crappy but also is free so you can check it out if you care.  Initially made for ipad so on other devices is weirdly scalled

Some of my friends made a game Dragon Flight.
it's a kind of long-surviving game, pretty addictive,
and also basically free to play.

Just picked up FUUSIO and it's one of the best logic puzzle games I've played in a while.

The Kemco games are great, if you like gameboy advance era jrpgs.  Like Golden Sun.  Now that was that a great game.

I'm not a fan of the virtual d-pad, but otherwise its all good.

Mage Gauntlet has been out for a while, but its worth checking out.
So is Dark Meadow: the pact, its really well done in terms of realism and visual detail for the iOS.

Really? Minecraft on a touchscreen? Can't bloody stand any kind of virtual joystick anymore. I thought Mage Gauntlet was good to begin with but I've learned to hate even an invisible joystick now.

If you're into Go then SmartGo Kifu is pretty good. It's a bit tricky in places but it's designed for Go nerds so you can study old games, play with a friend by setting up a record of a match, solve Go problems, etc. Bit pricey but I used to play Igowin for years so I can see myself getting a lot of mileage with this one.

Bad Piggies is actually really good. God of Blades is fucking awesome, despite the gameplay.
