I am confused because it seems like you have made very specific design choices that do not add to the atmosphere you are trying to go for !
Hey Armorman.
Oh I see now, I think I understand why you may be confused on certain design choices seeming like they are not aligning with one another at the moment. I have incorporated core design and gameplay mechanics from the classic 3D survival horror into the metroidvania style 2D games and I am mixing design and gameplay mechanics together between to two.
Also the level designs you see I am still tweaking the lighting in order to match a consistent atmospheric feel. Lighting will definitely be fine tuned to make everything cohesive, which will be a dark and ambient feel across 85% of the game.
I hope this explains my thought process.
Feel free to also elaborate on your thoughts and opinions anytime you like.
Reminds me of The Final Station
Love the artwork, really awesome enemies that grabbed my attention immediately!
Hi high-priest.clppr!
Final Station is an awesome indie game that I am eagerly awiting to play. The devs look like they have done a great job with the game as a whole.
Thanks for your compliments on the artwork and enemy designs. I am working hard to show even better updates soon!
