Night Lights is 2D puzzle platformer, based on lights and shadows interactions. Key feature of the game is shadow objects, which have a physical form, but you can cut them through with a light.

I work on this game alone, doing programming/art/music. Game engine is Unity, target platforms are Windows/Mac/Linux.

Night Lights is based on little browser game with the same name (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/620220), which I made in 2013.

Wow, this looks and sound really neat.
The game mechanic is cool and your art is complementing it well.

Love the visual style of the game! :D

It's a super interesting mechanic - interested to see what you do with it Smiley.

Seems a bit tricky right now to tell what might be influenced by the light and what might not be. You could go for a classic trial-and-error puzzle game style, but it might be more elegant if it was clearer at times what you could interact with Smiley.

Nice looking game with an interesting mechanic. I also like the music.

But I agree with Bejamming that it's a little bit hard to tell what influences what. The first time I watched the video I didn't get why adding the crytsal to the box made the lamp move, only after wachting it again I noticed the "electrical wire" with the small lights.

Maybe you could somehow enhcance the effect of when a wire has power going through it, right know it's too subtle.

Thank you all for your replies, guys!

At this moment all parts, that you can physically interact with, have darker color (yet it may be not so obvious in video). Also all dynamic objects have some sort of white border or sign on them, but yes, I'm still working out this part.

Yes, you're right, currently I'm thinking of more obvious effect after enabling wire with crystal.
